Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive eye examinations for new and established patients
Diagnose and manage ocular disease
Fit and manage contact lenses
Co-manage cataract, glaucoma, cornea, and refractive surgery patients
Educate patients on treatment options and long-term eye health
Maintain accurate EMR documentation
Collaborate with physicians, technicians, and clinical staff to provide outstanding patient care

Qualifications

Doctor of Optometry (OD)
Active Florida license (or ability to obtain)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Medical optometry experience preferred
Team-oriented with a patient-first approach

About the Opportunity

This position is based in the Tampa Bay area and includes providing care at multiple office locations. During your first year, you’ll rotate between clinics to build your patient panel, collaborate with experienced physicians, and gain exposure to a wide variety of clinical cases. As your patient base grows, your schedule may become more concentrated while continuing to support the practice’s collaborative care model.
