Pain Management MD – Atlanta region, GA
Base $300K with bonus potential up to $325K
4 weeks PTO for work-life balance
1099 Independent Contractor
No call, nights, or weekends — true flexibility
Start Date: February 2026
CLINICAL SCOPE:
Comprehensive interventional and medical pain management.
Patient mix: ~85% medication management / 15% interventional procedures.
Common procedures: epidural steroid injections, facet joint injections, medial branch blocks, radiofrequency ablations, spinal injections, hip & joint injections, peripheral nerve blocks, and trigger point injections.
Advanced therapies: regenerative treatments such as platelet-rich plasma (PRP) and wound care for select cases.
Treat both acute and chronic pain, with a focus on restoring function, improving quality of life, and providing evidence-based care.
Fun fact: You can come from any residency—Anesthesia, PM&R, Neurology, Internal Medicine, Family Medicine—as long as you have pain experience.
SUPPORT & INFRASTRUCTURE:
Each physician has dedicated medical assistant support, plus full administrative and billing staff.
Modern EMR system and procedure documentation support.
Established workflow allowing physicians to focus on patient care, not paperwork.
IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Board-certified or board-eligible in Anesthesiology, PM&R, or Neurology (Pain Board preferred but not required).
Experienced in interventional pain procedures with a patient-centered approach.
Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills.
Georgia medical license preferred or the ability to obtain one.
