Palm Health Locum CRNA Opportunity – Boise, Idaho Metro

Level II Trauma | Broad Case Mix

Palm Health Resources is actively recruiting Locum CRNAs for a large regional medical center serving the Boise metro and surrounding Treasure Valley region.

This is a strong long-term assignment for CRNAs seeking broad case exposure, a modern hospital environment, and access to one of the fastest-growing lifestyle markets in the Mountain West.

Assignment Overview

Start: August 2026
Duration: 6-month initial contract with extension potential
Openings: 2 CRNAs
Setting: Hospital OR + procedural/NORA coverage
EMR: Epic
Coverage Type: Scheduled clinical hours + required call
Schedule:

Full-time only (40 hours/week)

Variable 8s, 10s, and 12s

Facility also staffs 16-hour and 24-hour shifts

No block scheduling

Schedule released in 6-week blocks

Call Requirements

1 weekend call shift/month
2 weeknight call shifts/month
Required holiday coverage including Christmas

Clinical Scope

Broad surgical and procedural case mix including:

General Surgery
GYN
Orthopedics
Spine
Craniotomies
Plastics
Thoracic/lung procedures
Healthy pediatrics
Ophthalmology
GI
Structural hearts
EP
Endoscopy
Interventional Radiology
MRI anesthesia

Additional Notes:

No OB
No open heart
No burns
No transplants
No sick pediatrics
Must be comfortable in a Level II Trauma environment

CRNA Responsibilities:

Spinal blocks required
Regional blocks not required
No epidurals or central lines
Occasional arterial line opportunities available

Practice Model:

Supervision model up to 4:1
Primarily based in Boise with occasional coverage at nearby affiliated campus

Facility Environment

17 Main ORs
7 Day Surgery ORs
Cath labs, Endoscopy, IR, MRI, and procedural areas
Large, modern anesthesia department with stable long-term locum need

Compensation

Negotiable depending on commitment and schedule flexibility
Additional call pay
OT after 40 hours/week
Paid travel & lodging
Paid malpractice coverage

Requirements

NBCRNA Certified
Idaho license or willingness to obtain
DEA + Idaho CSR required
Minimum 1 year experience preferred (strong 6-month candidates considered)
No local candidates
