Description
About the Practice
A well-established and highly reputable private anesthesia group serving multiple premium surgical facilities across Passaic, Bergen, and Essex counties in Northern New Jersey is seeking a dedicated, clinically precise Anesthesiologist to join their team on a full-time basis. The group specializes in delivering streamlined, highly efficient, and outstanding anesthesia services exclusively for outpatient gastrointestinal (GI) procedures. They foster a collaborative, supportive workplace culture built for smooth operational flow and high clinician satisfaction.
Opportunity
This is a premier, lifestyle-friendly full-time opportunity for an Anesthesiologist looking to step into a specialized outpatient routine. The workload is heavily focused on low-acuity care, with approximately 90% of the caseload consisting of standard colonoscopies and endoscopy procedures (primarily ASA I cases). The typical daily volume is highly manageable, averaging around 12 to 15 cases per day.
The schedule runs Monday through Friday, starting around 7:00 AM, with daily end times varying between 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM (and a frequent opportunity to finish earlier). To accommodate specific community needs, the physician must be open to working one Saturday per month for specialized IVF and/or Endoscopy procedures.
The covered facilities are located in very close proximity to one another, making regional travel seamless and straightforward. To maintain the group's elite compliance and credentialing standards, Board Certification (BC) in Anesthesiology is strictly required.
Whether you are seeking stable corporate tracks over rigid institutional listings via New Jersey jobs, evaluating local private practice parameters through targeted searches for an anesthesiologist near me, or optimizing your lifestyle by eliminating high-stress emergency room trauma call, this Northern New Jersey multi-county opening offers an ideal combination of premier compensation, low-acuity work, and scheduling predictability.
