The practice is dedicated to providing high-quality, outpatient sedation and general anesthesia care for 100% Dental cases. Operating across modern clinical sites throughout the DFW metroplex, the center emphasizes streamlined daily workflows, patient safety, and structured scheduling.

This permanent Anesthesiologist position offers a highly flexible outpatient schedule with no CRNA supervision required (100% solo physician hands-on care).
Schedule: Flexible scheduling options ranging from 2 to 5 days per week (Monday through Friday).
Site Structure: Assigned to 1 site per day (physician must be open to floating between designated locations in the DFW metroplex).
Case Mix & Volume: 100% dental cases seeing an average of 5 to 8 cases per day.
Pediatric Scope: Healthy pediatric cases only (no pediatric fellowship required).
Employment Options: Flexible W2 or 1099 independent contractor employment arrangements available.

Key Responsibilities
Provide solo, direct general anesthesia and deep sedation for 100% dental cases (5 to 8 cases per day).
Perform pre-anesthesia patient evaluations and risk stratifications for adult and healthy pediatric dental patients.
Manage intraoperative airway, physiological monitoring, and depth of sedation autonomously across single-site daily assignments.
Oversee immediate post-anesthesia recovery (PACU) and post-procedural discharge criteria.
Maintain complete, compliant Electronic Health Record (EHR) documentation for all clinical encounters.
Travel to designated clinical sites within the Dallas/Fort Worth area on a 1-site-per-day basis.
Qualifications
MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology.
Completion of an accredited Anesthesiology Residency Program (No pediatric fellowship required).
Demonstrated proficiency in office-based dental anesthesia and pediatric airway management (Healthy Peds only).
Active, unrestricted Texas Medical License (or eligible to obtain prior to start).
Active Federal DEA registration and Texas Controlled Substances registration.
Active Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications.
Physician must carry/cover their own professional liability (malpractice) insurance.
