Responsibilities
Provide high-quality anesthesia services for healthy pediatric patients in a dental office setting.
Conduct pre-anesthetic evaluations and develop individualized plans for young patients.
Monitor patients intraoperatively and manage safe emergence and post-operative recovery.
Collaborate closely with pediatric dentists and office staff to ensure a seamless and safe surgical day.
Maintain accurate clinical records and adhere to office-based safety protocols.
Qualifications
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO).
Board Certification or Eligibility (ABA) in Anesthesiology.
Fellowship training in Pediatric Anesthesiology is a plus, but strong comfort and experience with healthy pediatric populations is required.
Current unrestricted Illinois medical license (or eligibility for licensure).
A patient-centered approach with excellent communication skills for both children and their parents.
Current PALS and ACLS certifications.
