About the Clinician's Workday
The clinician will provide pediatric clinical care to patients ages 6-21, including individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), autism spectrum disorder, and complex mental health needs served within a family-based care model. The position requires 16 hours per week structured as two 8-hour day shifts, with preferred scheduling on Monday and Wednesday or Tuesday and Thursday; a three-day split schedule may also be arranged based on availability. An anticipated caseload of 15-20 patients per day is expected, though volume may vary. Autonomous practice authority, an active Virginia nursing license, BLS certification, and pediatric clinical experience are required; credentialing is expected within 10 days and includes fingerprinting and a drug screen, with an onsite orientation of 2-3 days from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
