A leading regional academic children’s hospital in East Georgia is seeking a fellowship-trained Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesiologist to join a growing, collaborative team in a high-impact, mission-driven environment.
This is a rare hybrid role blending pediatric cardiac and general pediatric anesthesia with strong academic involvement, excellent support staff, and a true team-based culture.
đź«€ Clinical Highlights
Pediatric cardiac + general pediatric OR coverage (currently ~30/70, trending toward 50/50)
Complex congenital cardiac cases including:
ASD/VSD repairs
Glenn & Fontan procedures
Coarctation repairs
Neonatal congenital cardiac surgery
Pediatric cardiac cath lab exposure (~100 cases/year)
No transplant program; no mandatory TEE certification
Active perioperative collaboration with ICU & cardiology teams

Cardiac Call (Q3 rotation – 1 week/month):
Days: Full OR coverage (7a–5p)
Nights: Home pager (rare callbacks)
Weekends: Home pager coverage
Post-call: 2 protected days off
Non-call weeks:
Pediatric cardiac + general OR
Daytime only, no overnight responsibilities

Base salary: $510K – $560K
Incentive bonus: $15K – $20K
Sign-on: $40K – $50K
