Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed patient evaluations, physical examinations, and routine follow-ups for individuals receiving interventional and pharmacological pain treatments.

• Manage ongoing chronic pain medication regimens in strict adherence to practice protocols, state laws, and DEA compliance guidelines.

• Review and interpret diagnostic imaging, laboratory findings, urine drug screenings (UDS), and state Prescription Monitoring Program (PMP) reports.

• Educate patients on pain management modalities, proper medication usage, potential side effects, and risk mitigation strategies.

• Collaborate closely with supervising pain physicians, physical therapists, and interventional specialists to adjust individualized treatment plans.

• Maintain thorough, accurate, and prompt electronic health record (EHR) documentation for all patient encounters.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant Studies program.

• Active, unrestricted Physician Assistant license in the State of South Carolina (or eligible to obtain).

• Current certification through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).

• Active Federal DEA registration and South Carolina prescriptive authority (or eligible).

• Previous experience or strong interest in outpatient pain management, medication management, neurology, orthopedics, or physical medicine and rehabilitation (PM&R).

• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.

Compensation & Benefits Package

• Base Salary: Starting around $110,000 annually for full-time.

• Bonus Structure: Generous production bonus potential on top of base salary.
