Position Summary
We are seeking a versatile, high-caliber, and patient-centric Full-Time Primary Care Physician (MD or DO) to join our medical group in Southern California. This role offers a dynamic practice environment designed to support our regional clinics, splitting the work week between two of our key locations.
We are offering flexible split-site scheduling based on provider preference and clinic needs, for example:
3 days in Los Angeles / 2 days in Norwalk (or vice versa)
3 days in Norwalk / 2 days in Diamond Bar (or vice versa)
The ideal candidate is an intuitive healthcare professional who blends exceptional diagnostic acumen with a genuine commitment to preventative wellness, patient advocacy, and seamless cross-site care coordination. You will manage a dedicated patient panel across your split locations, working alongside integrated local teams to deliver a unified standard of care.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Excellence & Multi-Site Care
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute and chronic conditions across both designated clinical sites, ensuring strict adherence to standard-of-care guidelines.
Maintain clinical continuity for patients transitioning between care teams or requiring follow-up across our Southern California network.
Order, interpret, and analyze laboratory tests, imaging, and diagnostic reports to formulate precise, evidence-based treatment pathways.
Prescribe appropriate pharmaceuticals and therapeutic regimens, carefully reviewing patient history, allergies, and potential contraindications.
Counsel and educate patients on proactive lifestyle modifications, preventative wellness strategies, and long-term health literacy.
Collaboration & Operations
Partner closely with local practice managers, front desk coordinators, and allied health staff at both assigned sites to ensure optimal, efficient clinic workflows.
Participate in rotating after-hours on-call availability as reasonably required to support the patient panel.
Complete timely, thorough, and legible electronic medical records (EMR) to ensure seamless data sharing and operational continuity between your two locations.
Compliance & Quality Assurance
Adhere strictly to internal medical group protocols, commercial/managed care payor policies, and ongoing quality improvement initiatives.
Ensure absolute compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, infection control standards, and all relevant federal and California state healthcare regulations.
Qualifications & Clinical Requirements
Education & Licensure
Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school.
Successful completion of an accredited residency program.
Current, active, and unrestricted California State Medical License (or immediate eligibility to practice).
Active Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Experience & Core Competencies
Minimum of 3 years of post-residency experience in a Primary Care, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine setting preferred.
Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
High adaptability and strong organizational skills necessary to balance schedules and workflows across two physical clinic sites.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a passion for team-based, collaborative care delivery.
Bilingual communication skills (such as English/Korean or English/Spanish) are highly valued.
