Manage pre-procedure evaluations and clear patients for outpatient GI endoscopy and colonoscopy procedures.
Manage post-procedure care, review pathology and lab results, and formulate ongoing clinical treatment plans.
Maintain a steady, efficient workflow averaging 20 cases per day across 3 clinical/procedure rooms.
Provide patient education regarding dietary modifications, medication regimens, and preventative GI health.
Complete thorough, compliant, and timely documentation within the practice's Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
Qualifications
Master’s Degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
Active, unrestricted California Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) / Physician Assistant license (or active in-process status).
