Bayside Anesthesia is a group of forty-five anesthesiologists servicing Providence Saint John’s Health Center and local ambulatory surgery centers.

Our practice combines market competitive income with a relaxed, collegial and stimulating working environment.

Provide anesthesia for a wide range of cases within a favorable demographic.

Our group can be described as collegial with a family vibe.

Full-time partners never leave.

Part-time anesthesiologists receive customized schedules to meet his or her needs.

Low first call distribution (1-2/month) amongst 45 physicians, robust call stipends, fairly distributed Qgenda based scheduling with equal access to cases.

Fellowship experience is welcomed but not required.

Day off after call is available.

Favorable call relief system fosters healthier lifestyles.

Qgenda Marketplace facilitates easy call swaps between anesthesiologists as well as fair and equal access to work.

Production and Stipend based salary: (time based rather than unit based)

300/hr for partnership track

275/hr for non-partnership track

Full-time partners average around 700k annually

Vacation available: 5 weeks annually (at a minimum), more availabe

Partnership track: 3 years

Fellowship: Cardiac fellowship favored

Call stipends: First call, OB, Cardiac

Call is taken from home, with a 30 min call back time

OB call is in-house

Locations covered: Hospital, Hospital ASC and Outside ASC

Bayside is a private practice group that has held an exclusive contract with the hospital for the last thirty years and is fully integrated with the hospital including anesthesiologists on the board of directors.

Types of cases involve a wide range of patient acuity and disease spectrum.

Our group is welcoming and mentoring.

Ample opportunities are provided to hone regional skills within a prolific orthopedic joint practice.

Journal club, quality improvement and OR practice drill conferences foster an educational environment within a community based setting.

Saint John’s Health Center is located only one mile from the beach in Santa Monica, a city replete with picturesque beaches, world-class restaurants, scenic hiking trails, outdoor water sports and active social events.
