Description

  • Tacoma Anesthesia Associates (TAA), a physician-owned and well-established practice, is seeking a Director of Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesia to provide clinical and strategic leadership for the growing Mary Bridge Heart Program.

    • In collaboration with the internationally recognized congenital heart team at Cincinnati Children's Hospital, Mary Bridge is building a high-acuity pediatric cardiac program in a new freestanding children's hospital which opened in May 2026.
    This is a unique opportunity to help shape a premier congenital heart center in the Pacific Northwest.
    We are seeking a collaborative and engaged leader with a passion for advancing program growth, driving clinical excellence, mentoring colleagues, and fostering multidisciplinary teamwork.
    The Director will play a key role in program development and innovation while helping to establish a comprehensive children's heart center.
    Job Requirements:
  • Board Certified in Pediatric Anesthesiology with fellowship training or significant experience in Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesia
  • Caring for the full spectrum of congenital heart disease, including neonates, adult CHD, catheterization, and CHD patients undergoing non-cardiac surgeries.
  • Leadership experience in program development and multidisciplinary team collaboration
  • Participate in Pediatric Cardiac Call

    • Compensation Package
    2026: $832,775 annual total compensation + 9 weeks PTO
    2027: $848,750 annual total compensation + 10 weeks PTO
