Located in Fort Myers, Florida, this 135-bed children's hospital is home to a level III NICU and supports a growing complexity and acuity of pediatric perioperative services.
As part of a dynamic care team of 30 anesthesiologists and 64 anesthetists, you will contribute to delivering high-quality pediatric care to many of the over 45,000 patients treated here annually.
The position offers a $600,000 base salary with eligibility for the USAP Partner Track upon hire.
Physicians participate in weekend call rotation and receive a $50,000 annual call stipend.
Partner Track participants will receive an additional $50,000 annually during Years 1 and 2, with Year 3 transitioning to full partner compensation in alignment with USAP’s partner model.
Pediatric Anesthesiologist Opportunity
This position offers up to a 100% pediatric case mix, including:
Daily cases - General surgery, ENT, and orthopedics.
Weekly cases - Pediatric endoscopy, MRI, ophthalmology, plastics, dental, and neurosurgery.
Qualifications
-Pediatric Fellowship preferred, but not required!
-All USAP Anesthesiologists must be either an M.
D. or D.
O. with the completion of an approved Anesthesiology Residency program.
-Board eligible or board certified in Anesthesiology
-Anesthesiologist must complete and meet hospital credentialing requirements for the hospitals they will have privileges.
