Solo Hospital CRNA

Highlights of this Locum opportunity in Central Iowa:

• Solo CRNA practice; 9 CRNA’s when fully staffed; currently down 1 and adding an additional due to opening a new OR

• Prefer those that can do blocks and epidurals/ spinals

• 5 OR’s running; call would be light 1 night a week- very light; open to those willing to take weekends.

• 400 births; do not stay in-house for epidurals

• 50 bed hospital; Uses Epic

• Credentialing can take 90 days; estimated start early February- on-going coverage 6 months Need full-time but open to 2 weeks on/ 2 off

Preference is Five 8's BUT will consider 10's here! OT after scheduled shift.

Types of cases: Cases primarily consist of bread and butter. Ortho, OB/GYN, ENT, cataracts, podiatry, and Urology. No hearts, spines or Neuro. The CRNA needs to be ACLS, PALS and CPR certified. You will need an Iowa State Substance Certificate and a Federal DEA.

• $250.00/hour 8 hour daily min Monday- Friday.

• $400.00 to take the beeper call week night (M-F). In addition, any hours called back after the standard work day call will be reimbursed at $260.00/hour with a 2 hour min for each call back after hours.

• Weekend call: $1,800 per 24 hours of call coverage.

• $35.00/day meal per diem.

Travel reimbursed, malpractice covered, weekly pay.
