About the Clinician's Workday

The neurosurgeon will provide comprehensive 24-hour call coverage managing inpatient neurological surgery cases at this Level I trauma center. Essential responsibilities include performing surgical traumas involving cranial and spine procedures, managing surgical spine fractures, and responding to emergency consultations requiring immediate intervention. The clinician must maintain board certification in neurological surgery and demonstrate expertise in trauma management while coordinating care with multidisciplinary teams. Daily responsibilities include evaluating emergency cases, performing complex neurosurgical procedures, and ensuring continuous availability for trauma activations and emergency surgical interventions.
