Description

Methodist ACD Division – Cardiac and General Anesthesiology Opportunities
We are pleased to present an exceptional opportunity within one of our premier divisions, the ACD Division of USAP, located at Methodist Dallas Medical Center in Dallas, Texas.
Methodist Dallas is a level 1 trauma and tertiary care hospital located in the heart of Dallas.
The practice offers a diverse and rewarding case mix, including trauma, general surgery, liver and kidney transplantation, ENT, neurosurgery, orthopedics, obstetrics, and cardiac anesthesia.
There is no pediatric anesthesia, and obstetric cases are limited to supervision of highly experienced CRNAs.
Physicians may choose to supervise CRNAs or perform their own cases.
Members of the ACD group enjoy significant flexibility to tailor their practice to their preferred case mix and desired work-life balance.
We currently have openings for both general anesthesiologists and cardiac-trained physicians interested in joining the dedicated Heart and/or Liver Transplant teams.
The group is widely recognized for its excellent work-life balance, with partners averaging 12 weeks of vacation annually.
ACD consistently ranks among the highest in compensation per hour worked.
A variety of practice models are available, including partner-track positions, employed roles (with or without call), and shift-based schedules.
The group is one of the most cohesive in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, with the majority of physicians having served more than 10 years and many having built their entire careers here.
For those pursuing partner track, the group employs a distinctive “lump and divide” profit-sharing model, in which partners share profits equally.
This approach enables physicians to focus on their preferred clinical settings without concern for individual case billing.
Additional compensation is provided for work after 5:00 p.m., all cardiac cases, and liver transplants.
The call schedule is highly manageable, averaging 4–5 calls per month, with a balanced mix of in-house and home call.
We are seeking motivated, confident anesthesiologists eager to build a long-term, fulfilling career in a collegial and supportive environment.
For those relocating to Dallas, the ACD Division is based in the Kessler Park area, just minutes from downtown across the Trinity River.
This vibrant neighborhood offers immediate access to the Bishop Arts District and Trinity Groves—two of the city’s premier entertainment areas—as well as easy proximity to downtown Dallas and Arlington’s sporting and cultural venues.
Residential development is rapidly expanding in the area, driven in part by the forthcoming completion of the Harold Simmons Park along the Trinity River.
