Western Iowa Locums – CRNA
Length of assignment: 3-4+ months
Schedule details: 2 weeks on 2 weeks off (see full schedule below)
Shift types and hours: 7 am – 4 pm daily, Monday – Friday, 40 hour guarantee
Call requirements: Sunday at 5 pm – Sunday at 5 pm (1 week per month)
Overtime expectations: OT after 40 hours
Pay Rates: $250/hr., plus travel expenses
Reason for coverage: current CRNA is going out on medical leave with no return date
Cases: ENT, general, OB/GYN, ortho, podiatry, urology, OB – spinals, blocks and epidurals
Patient volume: 1000-1200 cases per year, about 100 births a year
Patient age range: Peds - Adults
Support staff: 3 CRNA Solo Practice
Number of beds or ORs: 2 ORs daily
EMR: EPIC
Certifications required: ACLS, PALS, BLS, BC only, must have IA license in hand for submission
Credentialing timeline: 2-3 weeks
Credentialing requirements:
State Substance Certificate and a Federal DEA
Must have IA license in hand
Emergency privileges
1 general surgeon employed by them, GI travels in from Omaha, OBGYN doing some cases in OR, they have a robot/DaVinci, Ortho is visiting
Schedule Needed:
Confirmed these are now the needed shifts:
December 9-12 – Day coverage (7-4) + call starting at 5PM
December 15-17 Day coverage (7-4) (COVERED)
December 18-19 – Day coverage (7-4)
December 28 Day coverage (7-4) + call starting at 5PM – January 4 at 5 PM
January 5-9 – Day coverage (7-4)
January 18 Day coverage (7-4) + call starting at 5 PM – January 25 at 5 PM
January 26-30 – Day coverage (7-4)
February 8 Day coverage (7-4) + call starting at 5 PM – February 15 at 5 PM
February 16-20 – Day coverage (7-4)
March 1 Day coverage (7-4) + call starting at 5 PM – March 8 at 5 PM
