Responsibilities
Provide and manage anesthesia for a diverse array of outpatient surgical and procedural cases.
Conduct thorough pre-operative patient evaluations and develop individualized anesthetic plans.
Administer and monitor anesthesia safely and effectively, utilizing advanced techniques suited for outpatient settings.
Manage patients in the post-anesthesia care unit (PACU) to ensure safe discharge.
Maintain accurate and complete patient records.
Collaborate effectively with surgeons, nursing staff, and the broader healthcare team.
Participate in the practice’s home call rotation.
Qualifications
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology.
Valid and unrestricted Illinois medical license (or eligibility for licensure).
Strong clinical skills across diverse outpatient case types.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Residents in their final year of training are welcome and encouraged to apply.
