Case Scope: Obstetrics (OB), pediatrics, regional, ortho, and outpatient surgery (B&B case mix focus).
Exclusions: Absolutely no cardiac or trauma cases.
Structure: Full-time, managing 100% of your own cases.
Career Path: Explicit two (2) year partnership track.
Responsibilities
Provide, manage, and independently administer anesthesia for a wide variety of surgical and obstetrical procedures.
Conduct thorough pre-anesthesia patient evaluations and develop individualized anesthetic plans.
Administer general, regional, and monitored anesthesia care utilizing modern clinical techniques.
Monitor patient vital signs closely intraoperatively to ensure maximum safety.
Oversee emergence and post-anesthesia recovery care.
Collaborate effectively with surgeons, nursing staff, and surgical assistants to ensure smooth daily facility workflows.
Qualifications
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology.
Current unrestricted medical license in the state of Texas (or immediate eligibility for licensure).
Strong clinical skills across the specified case mix, including solid proficiency in regional anesthesia.
Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
