Responsibilities

  • Provide, manage, and independently administer anesthesia for a wide variety of surgical and obstetrical procedures.

  • Conduct thorough pre-anesthesia patient evaluations and develop individualized anesthetic plans.

  • Administer general, regional, and monitored anesthesia care utilizing modern clinical techniques.

  • Monitor patient vital signs closely intraoperatively to ensure maximum safety.

  • Oversee emergence and post-anesthesia recovery care.

  • Collaborate effectively with surgeons, nursing staff, and surgical assistants to ensure smooth daily facility workflows.

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology.

  • Current unrestricted medical license in the state of Texas (or immediate eligibility for licensure).

  • Strong clinical skills across the specified case mix, including solid proficiency in regional anesthesia.

  • Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
