Job postings and hiring decisions may not discriminate against any person on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, genetic information, veteran status, pregnancy, or any other characteristic protected by law. We may remove any posting, and suspend or terminate any account, that we believe violates this policy. Ethesia respects the intellectual property of others and expects its users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), we will respond to valid notices of alleged copyright infringement and may remove or disable access to material we believe to be infringing.

If you believe content on Ethesia infringes your copyright, please send a written notice to our designated copyright agent that includes: (1) your physical or electronic signature; (2) identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed; (3) identification of the material you claim is infringing and its location on the site; (4) your contact information; (5) a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized; and (6) a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and you are authorized to act on the owner's behalf.

17. Dispute Resolution & Arbitration

Please read this section carefully — it affects your legal rights. Except where prohibited by law, you and Ethesia agree that any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the platform will be resolved by binding individual arbitration, rather than in court, except that either party may bring an individual claim in small-claims court.

Arbitration will be administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its applicable rules. Class-action waiver: you and Ethesia agree that each may bring claims against the other only in an individual capacity, and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class, collective, or representative proceeding.

30-day opt-out: you may opt out of this arbitration agreement within 30 days of first accepting these Terms by emailing support@ethesia.com with your name and a statement that you wish to opt out. Opting out will not affect any other part of these Terms.

19. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. To the extent any dispute is not subject to arbitration, it shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in San Diego County, California.
